TGCA Commerce Academy is expanding its counselling and sales team and is looking for enthusiastic, result-oriented Telesales Executives (Student Counsellors). The role involves guiding students and parents in making informed academic decisions while actively driving course enrolments.
Primary Responsibilities
Make outbound and inbound calls to prospective students and parents using the provided lead database
Understand students' academic goals, challenges, and career aspirations through detailed need analysis
Recommend suitable TGCA Commerce Academy programs based on student requirements
Clearly explain and promote TGCA Commerce Academy's courses and offerings
Build strong, trust-based relationships with students and parents
Provide personalised counselling and consistent follow-ups
Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets
Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and enrolments in the CRM system
Coordinate with academic, marketing, and operations teams for updated program details
Share feedback to improve lead quality, conversion strategies, and student experience
Required Qualifications & Experience
0-2 years of experience in telesales, student counselling, academic advisory, or sales
Prior experience in the education sector is an added advantage
Ability to consistently meet enrolment and revenue targets
Key Skills & Attributes
Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Good interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment
Malayalam language proficiency preferred
Basic to good English communication skills desirable
