The Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales, managing customer relationships, and promoting FMCG products through outbound and inbound calls. The role involves achieving monthly sales targets, maintaining accurate customer records, and providing excellent service to distributors, retailers, and end customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Generation
Conduct outbound calls to retailers, distributors, and channel partners to promote FMCG products.
Convert leads into sales and achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets.
Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer requirements.
Follow up on cold and warm leads to maximize sales opportunities.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and product-related information.
Ensure timely follow-up with retailers regarding orders, payments, and delivery status.
3. Order Management
Record customer orders accurately into the system.
Coordinate with logistics/supply chain for timely product dispatch.
Track order status and inform customers proactively.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily call logs, sales reports, and customer feedback records.
Update CRM/ERP systems with customer information and sales activities.
Share market insights and competitors' activities with the sales team.
5. Market Awareness
Stay updated on FMCG product lines, pricing, schemes, discounts, and offers.
Understand customer buying patterns and market trends.
Provide suggestions to improve sales strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Minimum 12th pass; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience:
2-3 years of tele sales experience; FMCG sales experience is an added advantage.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal communication in Hindi, English, and regional languages as needed.
Sales Skills:
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing abilities.
Technical Skills:
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM tools).

Team player and self-motivated
Work Environment
Office-based Tele sales role.
Works closely with Sales Executives, Area Sales Managers, and Supply Chain teams.
