We are looking for an energetic and persuasive Telesales Executive to join our growing Construction materials supply business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, managing inbound and outbound calls, converting inquiries into confirmed sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, along with a proactive attitude toward achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Lead Generation
Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote and sell sand, blue metal, and other quarry materials.
Handle inbound calls from prospective clients, understand their material requirements, and provide accurate product information and quotations.
Follow up on leads and convert them into confirmed sales orders.
Maintain an updated database of customer inquiries, quotations, and follow-up details in the CRM system.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing queries, concerns, and complaints.
Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
Target Achievement
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.
Support the field sales team with qualified leads and potential clients.
Work closely with the Sales Manager to execute strategies and improve conversion rates.
Reporting and Administration
Prepare daily call logs, follow-up reports, and sales summaries.
Update management on customer trends, feedback, and potential business opportunities.
Ensure all sales documentation and customer interactions are accurately recorded.
Continuous Learning and Improvement
Stay updated on product knowledge, pricing, and industry trends.
Participate in periodic training sessions to enhance selling skills and market understanding.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, or customer service -- preferably in construction materials, sand, or related industries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, Tamil, and/or regional languages.
Proven ability to achieve targets and close sales over the phone.
Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer operations.
Excellent listening, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
