Building customer relationships:
They establish rapport with customers, understand their needs, and tailor sales approaches to meet those needs effectively.
Meeting sales targets:
They are responsible for achieving daily, weekly, or monthly sales quotas, often measured by the number of successful sales or revenue generated.
Handling customer inquiries:
They answer questions about products, services, pricing, and promotions, providing clear and accurate information.
Managing sales process:
This includes initiating calls, presenting information, handling objections, and closing sales, often using sales scripts and call strategies.
Maintaining customer records:
They update customer information, track interactions, and manage sales data using CRM systems or other designated tools.
Providing excellent customer service:
They strive to ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and fostering positive interactions.
Following up on leads:
They may follow up on leads generated by other teams or marketing campaigns, converting them into sales opportunities.
Staying informed:
They keep up-to-date with product knowledge, sales techniques, and market trends to effectively engage with customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in telesales, inside sales, or telemarketing (manufacturing preferred)
Excellent communication and persuasion skills
Ability to explain technical or industrial products clearly over the phone
Basic knowledge of manufacturing products and B2B sales
Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office
Strong negotiation and closing skills
