Job Description

1.

Installation & Setup

o Install, configure, and test telecommunications equipment, including phones, routers, switches, modems, PBX systems, VoIP solutions.

2.

Maintenance & Repair

o Perform routine maintenance on telecommunication systems to ensure optimal performance.

o Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in equipment and networks, including copper and fiber optic lines.

3.

Testing & Inspection

o Conduct signal strength and quality tests using specialized equipment.

o Inspect lines, hardware, and devices for wear, damage, or performance issues.

4.

Documentation & Reporting

o Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, maintenance logs, and equipment inventory.

o Prepare technical reports on system performance, issues, and solutions provided.

5.

Customer Service

o Provide technical support to customers and educate them on equipment usage and troubleshooting basics.

o Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication.

6.

Compliance & Safety

o Follow all safety standards and regulations related to the installation and handling of telecommunication equipment.

o Ensure systems meet industry codes and standards.

7.

Upgrades & Optimization

o Recommend and implement system upgrades or changes to enhance performance and meet customer needs.

o Evaluate emerging technologies and assist in system integration projects.

8.

Collaboration

o Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and other technicians on large-scale installations and network builds.

o Coordinate with service providers for provisioning and support issues.

9.

Emergency Response

o Be available for on-call or emergency support, including after-hours service when required.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
