The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to meet targets, and a customer-centric approach. Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling & Counselling o Conduct high-volume, target-based outbound calls to prospective students and parents. o Provide accurate information about university programs, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, campus facilities, and career prospects. o Address queries professionally and guide students through the application and enrolment process.
2. Lead Management & Follow-up o Generate, qualify, and nurture leads through systematic follow-up using phone calls, emails, and messaging platforms. o Maintain timely and consistent communication with prospective students to enhance conversion rates. o Track the status of leads and update the CRM or internal systems regularly.
3. Admission Support o Assist students in completing the application process and submitting required documents. o Coordinate with the admissions team regarding candidate status, evaluations, and interview schedules. o Support in organizing webinars, counselling sessions, and events to engage prospective students.
4. Reporting & Performance Tracking o Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly call and conversion targets assigned by the admissions team. o Prepare and submit reports on lead status, conversions, and progress metrics. o Identify trends and share feedback to improve lead quality and outreach strategies.
Required Qualifications & Skills Education: o Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A background in counselling, marketing, or education is an added advantage. Experience: o 3+ years of experience in tele calling, tele counselling, admissions counselling, or similar roles (preferably in the education sector). Skills & Competencies: o Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. o Strong persuasive, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. o Ability to work under targets and manage time efficiently. o Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. o Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages (Telugu) is a plus.
