Job Description
The tasks an Installation Engineer - SDH & DWDM is expected to perform include:
- Installing SDH and DWDM equipment at the Telecom mobile sites
- Coordination with customer for site access, RFI confirmation & materials availability
- Material verification at site with respect to site BoQ
- DCDB installation, Power cable/Grounding cable laying to DCDB/Power plant and Power tapping in ECI Box / RACK DCDB MCB and labelling
- Installation and Commissioning of MUX equipment as per plan including Rack installation
- Patch Cord routing, labelling, and connecting to relevant boxes as per the NDD/Plan
- Integration & Node AT as per plan along with Power meter, Digital VOA and 1G/10G tester for multi rate SFP\'s, Prepare AT document and Sign Off from customer
- Coordination with customer for site acceptance, material handover, punch point clearance.
- Ring readiness and propose for AT in coordination with NMS Integration team. Punch point clearance for stability, doc submission and closure till NOC RFS
- Sharing of photos like Installation, Grounding, Routing of cables, Labelling, site status before leaving site
- Balance handover of materials to customer on mail
- Health insurance
