Job Description


Job Purpose The Telecom Expense Management (TEM) team is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and detailed, individual with strong analytical skills, communication, and business acumen to join our team. The TEM team manages the global telecom sourcing process: supplier relationship management, invoice management, contract review, and inventory management. The Telecom Business Analyst - will be responsible for managing and reconciling our invoices and maintaining our global inventory database. Proactively working with our suppliers, internal AP, and engineering teams to ensure accounts are current and the inventory is valid. Responsibilities
  • Review and verify Telecom (voice & data) and Hosting invoices for correct rates, discrepancies, and location details to the TEM systems and update records as needed. Working with internal teams and departments to identify, confirm and/or deny services.
  • Open and track billing disputes, inquires and trouble tickets with all Vendors.
  • Process MACDs (Moves, Adds, Changes and Disconnects) via email or vendor portals. This will include creating and tracking orders and requests through billing. Reconcile new and decommissioned Telecom inventory with invoices.
  • Perform first and final bill reviews plus perform audits to ensure inventory and monthly recurring charges are accurate.
  • Actively manage and track telecom asset inventory. Maintain accurate inventory along with historical information about activities and billing.
  • Work closely with Accounts Payables team to ensure payments are processed accordingly and remedy misapplied payments.
  • Work with Vendors to reconcile accounts based on AR reports, late notices and credit transfers.
  • Support TEM team with reporting, vendor needs and general inquiries.
  • Update data internal systems to ensure MRCs, contract terms, locations and other pertinent details are accurate.
  • Manage Vendor portals and help maintain ongoing vendor relationships - support best practices for global vendor portfolio management including; contracts, contacts, renewals, inventory, spend and vendor performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline work.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of telecommunications voice, data, and colocation.
  • Previous experience with a (TEM) Telecom expense management: invoicing, disputes, audits, and analysis.
  • Experience processing data for billing purposes.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite; advance knowledge of Excel.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Calero or other TEM solution, and ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with vendor management and vendor portals.
  • Ability to adapt and understand new processes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Schedule This role is remote, and the employee may be located in Hyderabad or Pune.
