Job Description

Job Overview:

A telecaller is responsible for communicating with customers over the phone to promote products or services, answer inquiries, resolve issues, and achieve sales or customer service goals.

Key Responsibilities:



Outbound Calls:

Make outbound calls to potential customers or existing clients to promote products or services, conduct surveys, or schedule appointments.

Inbound Calls:

Receive incoming calls from customers or clients and assist them with inquiries, product information, troubleshooting, or issue resolution.

Customer Engagement:

Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, actively listen to their needs, and provide appropriate solutions.

Product Knowledge:

Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's products or services to effectively communicate features, benefits, and pricing to potential customers.

Sales and Targets:

Achieve sales targets and quotas by persuading customers to make purchases or take desired actions (e.g., signing up for services or scheduling appointments).

Customer Support:

Assist customers with issues, complaints, or requests, escalating complex problems to supervisors or relevant departments when necessary.

Scripts and Guidelines:

Adhere to scripts or guidelines provided by the company for call scripting, compliance, and quality assurance.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Do-Not-Call lists and data protection laws.

Feedback:

Provide feedback to supervisors or management on customer trends, issues, and suggestions for improvement.

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent (some roles may require a bachelor's degree). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and active listening skills. Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent in achieving goals. Familiarity with CRM software and call center technology is a plus. Sales or customer service experience is preferred.
