As a Telecaller at WebAsha Technologies, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students, corporate clients, and training-enquiry leads. Your role is to generate interest in our IT & Certification training programmes, handle inbound/outbound calls, qualify leads, and support enrolment processes. The goal is to convert enquiries into registrations while maintaining excellent service and brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
Outbound and Inbound Calls
Make scheduled outbound calls to cold/ warm leads (prospects interested in IT training/certification courses).
Respond promptly to incoming calls/enquiries about courses, certifications, schedules, fees and placement assistance.
Provide clear, accurate information about WebAsha's programmes (Cloud, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Linux, etc). WebAsha Technologies+1
Use approved scripts but sound engaging and personable.
Lead Qualification & Follow-up
Ask key qualifying questions (level of interest, budget, timeline, preferred course) to determine lead quality.
Maintain a pipeline of leads; schedule follow-up calls; track statuses (Call Back, Interested, Not Interested, Enrolled).
Work closely with the sales/admissions team to handover qualified leads.
Encourage lead conversion into registrations/enrolments.
Data Management & CRM Entry
Log all call outcomes/activities promptly in CRM or lead-tracker tool.
Maintain accurate records: contact details, call notes, next action date.
Flag incorrect / duplicate data and escalate for cleansing.
Monitor follow-up schedule and ensure no lead goes unattended.
Performance & Reporting
Meet or exceed daily/weekly call targets (number of calls, lead conversions, follow-ups).
Report daily metrics: calls made, contacts reached, leads qualified, meetings scheduled.
Provide feedback on lead patterns, objections, market insights to improve campaigns.
Customer Service & Brand Engagement
Represent WebAsha professionally; offer courteous, informative, helpful responses.
Handle objections and queries patiently; escalate complex queries to training/admissions team.
Maintain confidentiality of student/client information.
Collaboration
Work with marketing team to understand current campaigns, offers, scripts.
Coordinate with training/admissions team for updates on course availability, new batches, pricing, placement stats.
Participate in team meetings and training updates.
Skills & Requirements
Excellent verbal communication skills in English and local language (Hindi/Marathi), comfortable making outbound calls.
Good listening skills and ability to ask probing questions to qualify leads.
Basic computer skills: using CRM/Excel, dialing tools, entering data accurately.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, comfortable working under call/target metrics.
Pleasant phone manner, confident tone, resilient in face of rejections.
Preferably 0-2 years of experience in tele-sales/educational sales/inbound?outbound calling.
