Overview
A Telecaller is responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls to engage with customers, promote products or services, generate leads, and resolve customer queries. They play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and supporting overall business growth through effective communication and relationship building.
Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote products or services.
Handle inbound calls, respond to customer inquiries, and provide accurate information.
Generate and qualify leads to support the sales team.
Maintain customer records by updating databases and CRM systems.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Meet daily/weekly/monthly call and sales targets.
Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align with business goals.
Requirements
Minimum qualification: High school diploma/graduate (any stream).
Prior experience as a Telecaller, Customer Service Representative, or in a similar role preferred.
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
Persuasive and result-oriented with good negotiation abilities.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office/CRM tools.
Ability to handle rejections and remain motivated.
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude.
