Role Overview



The Telecaller will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, converting IndiaMART packaging inquiries into qualified leads, maintaining follow-up discipline, and supporting the sales team with appointment setting, lead filtration, and client communication. The role requires strong communication skills, fast response time, and an understanding of printing & packaging products.

Key Results Area(KRAs)



A. Lead Handling & Qualification



Handle all incoming IndiaMART packaging leads promptly and professionally Make outbound calls to new inquiries received through IndiaMART, website, referrals, and offline sources.

Understand the client's requirement related to:



Packaging boxes Labels, stickers Custom printed materials Paper quality, size, quantity, finishing Qualify leads and forward potential clients to the sales team.

B. Follow-up & Conversion Support



Maintain regular follow-ups with interested clients until the appointment/order is confirmed. Share catalogues, sample photos, and company profile when required. Set appointments for the sales team for high-potential leads. Ensure no lead is missed or dropped due to poor follow-up.

C. Documentation & CRM Management



Update daily calling reports and follow-up status in CRM/Excel. Maintain proper record of IndiaMART leads: New leads Hot / warm / cold leads Converted / not converted reasons Coordinate with the sales team for quotation and order updates.

D. Communication & Client Assistance



Provide accurate product information such as paper type, printing method, delivery timeline, basic costing inputs, etc. Handle customer objections politely and confidently. Guide clients to share artwork, job details, quantity, and required specifications.

E. Coordination with Internal Teams



Coordinate with the designing team for artwork clarity and client requirements. Coordinate with production department for delivery timeline updates. Support sales executives by preparing lead briefs before they visit clients.

Required Experience:-



0-2 years of experience in telesales / telecalling / customer service. Experience with IndiaMART leads is a strong advantage. Basic computer knowledge (Excel, WhatsApp Business, email).
