The Telecaller will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, providing product information, generating leads, and supporting customer service activities. The role requires excellent communication skills, customer handling ability, and a positive attitude to maintain strong customer relations. Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce the company's products/services.
Handle inbound customer enquiries and provide accurate information.
Record customer details, feedback, and follow-up requirements systematically.
Maintain and update customer databases on a regular basis.
Generate leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
Follow up on leads, quotations, and pending customer responses.
Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when required.
Meet daily/weekly calling targets and performance metrics.
Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and brand representation in all interactions. Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telecaller / Customer Support Executive.
Strong communication skills in Tamil and basic English.
Good telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle customers calmly and efficiently.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office / CRM entry).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additional Preferences (Optional)
Experience in furniture, interiors, or retail industry is an added advantage.
Candidates living near Anna Nagar / local commute preferred.
