experienced Telecaller
who can efficiently engage with student leads, explain course offerings, and convert interested prospects into enrollments.
Role Overview
The Telecaller will be responsible for contacting
pre-generated leads
provided by Datameris, communicating with aspiring students, understanding their requirements, and guiding them toward course enrollment. This is a
temporary role
, ideal for candidates with prior experience in
education or training institute telecalling
.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to student leads provided by the company.
Communicate clearly about course details, structure, fees, and benefits.
Understand student needs and recommend suitable courses accordingly.
Follow up with interested students and maintain lead status.
Convince and convert potential students into course enrollments.
Address basic queries and escalate complex questions when needed.
Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and conversions.
Achieve daily/weekly calling and conversion targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in
education telecalling / counselling / admissions support
.
Strong communication and convincing skills (English & Malayalam preferred).
Ability to handle objections and guide students confidently.
Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM or lead tracking tools.
Target-oriented and result-focused mindset.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience working with training institutes, coaching centers, or ed-tech companies.
Good understanding of student psychology and career aspirations.
Polite, patient, and persuasive communication style.
