Role Overview:
A Telemarketer is responsible for contacting potential or existing customers to promote products or services, generate sales leads, and maintain positive customer relationships. The role involves outbound/inbound calling, explaining product benefits, answering queries, and updating customer databases.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote products/services
Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information
Maintain customer databases and update call records
Generate leads and schedule appointments for the sales team
Follow communication scripts and company guidelines
Achieve daily/weekly call and sales targets
Handle customer objections professionally
Provide feedback to improve marketing and sales strategies

Good communication skills
Basic computer knowledge (CRM, call logs, etc.)
Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated
Persuasive and customer-friendly attitude
Time management and multitasking ability
Prior telemarketing or customer service experience is an added advantage
