World Wide Fund for Nature-India (WWF-India) was founded with the express objective of ensuring the conservation of the country\'s wildlife and natural habitats. Throughout the seventies and eighties, WWF-India kept its focus primarily on wildlife and nature conservation. Whilst our conservation initiatives for the tiger and other priority species continue to be a core area of our work, our programs move ahead on education, sustainable agriculture, marine conservation, engaging with businesses to adopt better environmental practices, inspiring citizens to take positive action for the planet, among many others.

About the internship

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop an understanding and awareness of WWF India\'s work
2. Assist to make calls to donors and explain WWF India\'s work to members in a clear and interesting way
3. Manage and develop long-term relationships with the donors and upgrading them up in the donor pyramid
4. Work to upscale the production and turn primary data into secondary

Skills and other requirements:

1. Ability to work to tight deadlines through retention and acquisition of new donors from one-time and regular giving donors
2. Strong communication and negotiation skills for meeting as many individual donors as possible and also upscaling the production and turning primary data to secondary
