Job Description

The position holder will be responsible for converting leads into admissions for online and distance learning courses according to their interest and qualification. The counselor serves as a key representative of the institution, ensuring an excellent experience for all prospective students and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel prospective students on admission requirements, academic programs, and university details. Manage the entire admission process -- from inquiry to enrollment -- ensuring timely communication and follow-up. Maintain and update student information in the admissions database. Collaborate with academic departments, marketing and administration to support student. Represent the institution at college fairs, community events, and high school visits. Assist in planning and implementing admission campaigns, outreach activities, and digital recruitment strategies. Meet or exceed student enrollment targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide feedback and insights to improve admission strategies and enhance the applicant experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's preferred). 1-3 years of experience in admissions, student services, or higher education preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
