The Tele Counsellor will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to guide, inform, and counsel students regarding study abroad options, admission procedures, courses. The role involves maintaining positive communication, converting inquiries into walk-ins or admissions, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to potential students and handle inbound inquiries regarding study abroad programs.
Counsel students on university options, course selection, and country-specific admission requirements.
Follow up with leads through calls and WhatsApp until conversion.
Maintain an updated database of student inquiries and leads in CRM.
Schedule appointments for in-person or online counseling sessions.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets for lead conversion and follow-up calls.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with the admissions and operations teams for timely follow-up and updates.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
1-3 years of experience in telecalling, customer service, or counseling (education sector preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English, Hindi, and local language preferred).
Good convincing ability and positive attitude.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools, Email communication).
