Role Overview:
We are seeking a
Telecalling Executive
who will be responsible for reaching out to schools, distributors, and book retailers to generate leads, promote our publications, and support sales operations. The role requires good communication skills, persuasion ability, and record management.
Key Responsibilities:
Call schools, bookstores, and distributors to introduce and promote Woodapple books.
Generate leads, follow up with prospects, and support the sales team in achieving targets.
Handle incoming queries from customers and provide product information.
Maintain and update customer databases (calls made, responses, follow-ups).
Schedule appointments for the sales team with decision-makers in schools/institutions.
Collect feedback from clients and share with management for improvements.
Assist in post-sales support such as order confirmation, dispatch updates, and payment reminders.
Candidate Requirements:
Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Commerce, Arts, or Communication).
2-3 years of experience in telecalling/inside sales/customer support.
Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
Confidence in handling outbound & inbound calls.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM, data entry).
Target-oriented mindset with ability to handle pressure.
