Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Telecaller cum Student Counsellor
with prior experience in selling
professional courses
.The role involves handling warm inbound leads, understanding student goals, explaining programs honestly, and closing admissions ethically.
This is
NOT
a bulk call-centre or BPO role.? This is
quality counselling + consultative sales
.
Key Responsibilities
Call & follow up on inbound leads (paid ads only)
Understand student profiles (college students, freshers, working professionals, career switchers)
Explain course structure, duration, pricing, and effort required (Our Courses - Data Science with AI, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Generative AI)
Address objections related to fees, time commitment, and career outcomes
Schedule in-person or online Zoom counselling sessions when required
Close admissions and coordinate fee collection
Maintain accurate lead status and follow-up records
Follow ethical counselling practices (no fake job or salary guarantees)
Strong communication & interpersonal skills with trust-building ability over calls
Consultative selling and objection-handling skills (without false promises)
Good time management; able to work independently and in a team
Target-driven mindset with a focus on ethical closures
Good spoken English and local language (Kannada)
Confident phone and Zoom presence with a counselling mindset
Freshers / BPO-only / Insurance / Loan callers

Compensation
Fixed Salary:
?25,000 - ?50,000 (based on experience & past closures)
Incentives:
?1,000 - ?2,000 per confirmed admission
No unrealistic targets

Work Timings
6 days a week
10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday may be a working day (batch/counselling days)
One weekday off (flexible)
