The Telecaller - Admissions will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to prospective students and parents, providing detailed information about the university's programs, admission procedures, and campus facilities. The role focuses on converting inquiries into admissions through effective communication and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents from inquiry databases.
Handle inbound calls and respond to queries related to courses, eligibility, fees, scholarships, and admission processes.
Counsel students on program selection based on their interests and career goals.
Maintain and update daily call logs, follow-up records, and admission data in CRM or Excel.
Coordinate with the admission and marketing teams to ensure timely communication and support.
Follow up with potential leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, and emails.
Assist in organizing admission campaigns, webinars, and counselling sessions.
Meet daily and monthly call and conversion targets.
Provide accurate information and maintain a positive, professional tone while dealing with students and parents.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English and Hindi proficiency preferred).
Persuasive and confident phone manner.
Basic computer and data entry skills (MS Office / CRM tools).
Good listening and problem-solving ability.
Target-oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and as part of a team.
