A Telecaller is responsible for making outbound calls, handling inbound inquiries, explaining services to potential customers, maintaining call records, and supporting the admission/sales team by converting leads into walk-ins or admissions.
Key Responsibilities
1? Calling & Lead Follow-Up
Make outbound calls to prospective customers, parents, or leads.
Handle inbound calls and provide accurate information.
Follow up with leads regularly to convert inquiries into walk-ins or admissions.
2? Communication & Explanation
Clearly explain program details, fee structures, facilities, and benefits.
Answer queries politely and professionally.
Maintain a positive and convincing communication tone.
3? Data Management
Maintain and update call logs, lead records, and follow-up status in CRM or Excel.
Track daily calls, responses, and conversion status.
4? Target Achievement
Meet daily/weekly/monthly calling and conversion targets.
Support the admissions or sales team in achieving overall goals.
5? Coordination
Coordinate with the admissions/marketing team for scheduling visits, meetings, or follow-ups.
Share daily reports of calls made, responses, and interested leads.
6? Customer Service
Maintain good rapport with parents/customers.
Provide excellent after-call support and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications/Education
Minimum 12th pass (PUC) or Bachelor's degree.
Any specialization; freshers also welcome.
Experience
0-2 years of experience in telecalling, customer service, or sales.
Experience in school/college admissions is an added advantage.
