The Telecaller will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls related to restaurant table bookings, catering enquiries, and party/event bookings. The role involves converting leads into confirmed bookings, maintaining customer relationships, and coordinating with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:1. Customer Interaction & Lead Handling
Make outbound calls to potential clients for restaurant reservations, catering, and event inquiries.
Attend inbound calls professionally, providing complete information about menus, pricing, and services.
Understand customer needs and suggest suitable dining or catering packages (e.g., live counters, bar setups, hampers, customized cakes, etc.).
Follow up with customers on pending queries, quotations, and booking confirmations.
2. Booking & Coordination
Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, enquiries, and bookings in the CRM or tracking sheet.
Coordinate with the restaurant and catering teams for event dates, menus, and setup requirements.
Ensure smooth handover of confirmed bookings to the operations team.
Schedule site visits or menu tastings for large event clients when required.
3. Sales & Conversion
Convert leads into confirmed bookings through effective communication and upselling techniques.
Promote ongoing offers, party packages, catering services, and special menus.
Meet monthly booking and sales targets assigned by management.
Suggest cross-selling between brands (e.g., Saaj bar services with Zafrani catering).
4. Customer Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with regular customers and corporate clients.
Handle feedback, complaints, and post-event follow-ups courteously.
Maintain a positive brand image for all outlets through polite and professional communication.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily/weekly reports on leads, conversions, and customer feedback.
Maintain updated customer databases and event logs.
Share insights on customer trends, peak booking periods, and service improvement suggestions.
Skills & Requirements:
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
Pleasant personality and customer-friendly attitude.
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, WhatsApp Business, CRM tools).
Prior experience in restaurants, hospitality, or catering telecalling preferred.
Target-oriented and disciplined in follow-ups.
