The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to counsel students/parents, and a passion for helping learners choose the right educational program. The role includes making outbound calls, explaining courses, generating leads, and converting inquiries into enrollments.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to potential students and parents to explain available courses, programs, and career pathways.
Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and referrals.
Understand student requirements and provide appropriate course recommendations.
Maintain accurate records of calls, inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions.
Provide detailed course information, fee structure, curriculum, learning outcomes, etc.
Build rapport with students/parents to increase admissions and retain interest.
Handle inbound inquiries professionally and assist students with the admissions process.
Coordinate with the sales and academic teams for smooth onboarding of enrolled students.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Strong convincing and negotiation ability.
Positive attitude, patience, and ability to handle student/parent queries.
Basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
Ability to manage high-volume calling and follow-ups.
Qualifications:
Graduate with relevant experience.
1-2 years of telecalling or inside sales experience, preferably in EdTech, training institutes, or education counselling.
Freshers with good communication skills may also apply (optional).
