We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented
Telecaller
to join our Study Visa team. The candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, guiding students about overseas education options, explaining visa processes, and scheduling counselling appointments. The role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to convert leads into admissions.
Roles and Responsibilities1. Lead Handling & Communication
Make outbound calls to potential students and respond to incoming inquiries.
Explain study abroad options, university programs, and eligibility criteria.
Provide accurate information about study visa requirements, documentation, and timelines.
Follow up with leads regularly to ensure maximum conversion.
2. Counselling Support
Schedule appointments for students with senior counsellors/visa experts.
Coordinate between students and admission/visa teams for updates.
Assist in basic screening to check students' eligibility.
3. Documentation Assistance
Guide students on required documents for admissions and visa applications.
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and documentation status.
4. Sales & Conversion
Persuade and convince students to choose recommended courses, universities, and countries.
Achieve monthly targets for lead conversions and counselling registrations.
Participate in marketing campaigns and education fairs when required.
5. Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong follow-up systems and ensure excellent customer service.
Resolve student queries professionally and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
Build long-term relationships with students and parents.
6. Reporting & Coordination
Update CRM with call logs, follow-ups, and lead status.
Provide daily/weekly reports to the team leader or manager.
Coordinate with admissions and visa teams to ensure smooth processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
Prior experience in telecalling, counselling, or education consultancy (preferred).
Basic knowledge of international education and visa processes (training can be provided).
Good persuasion, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Computer literacy (MS Office, CRM tools).
