Telecaller Job Role & Responsibilities
1. Core Purpose
A Telecaller is responsible for handling outbound and inbound calls to generate sales, provide customer support, collect feedback, or promote services/products.
2. Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to potential customers to promote products/services.
Handle inbound inquiries and resolve customer queries.
Explain product/service features clearly and persuasively.
Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and customer details in CRM/software.
Follow up on leads to ensure conversion.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets (sales, leads, appointments).
Provide feedback to the team/management on market trends and customer needs.
Maintain a professional, polite, and positive attitude on calls.
Ensure compliance with scripts, policies, and quality standards.
3. Required Skills
Excellent communication and convincing skills (Hindi/English/regional language as required).
Good listening ability and patience while handling queries.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM, spreadsheets).
Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
Time management and organizational skills.
4. Qualifications
Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred.
Prior experience in telecalling, telesales, or customer service is a plus.
5. Performance Metrics
Number of calls made/received.
Lead generation/conversion ratio.
Sales/appointment targets achieved.
Customer satisfaction and feedback scores.
