The Malayalam Telecaller is responsible for contacting prospective students preparing for Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) exams via phone. The primary goal is to effectively explain and promote Prepscale's courses, study materials, and services, leading to successful student enrollments. A strong understanding of the Kerala PSC examination process and excellent persuasive communication skills in Malayalam are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Execute Outbound Calls:
Consistently call and engage leads/students provided in the company database.
Provide Course Information:
Detail Prepscale's various Kerala PSC courses (e.g., LDC, VFA, KAS, Degree/Plus Two level exams), fee structures, class formats (online/offline), and study resources.
Assess Student Needs:
Understand each student's specific academic goals, current preparation level, and requirements to recommend the most suitable course.
Achieve Enrollment Targets:
Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment (sales) targets set by the management.
Address Queries:
Answer student questions clearly regarding the PSC exam pattern, syllabus, and course specifics.
Follow-Up:
Conduct timely follow-ups with interested prospects to nurture leads and finalize enrollments.
Data Management:
Accurately log all call information (student response, follow-up dates, etc.) into the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
Maintain Professionalism:
Ensure all interactions uphold the professional standards and positive image of the institution.
Required Qualifications and Knowledge
Education:
Minimum +2 from a recognized institution.
Language Proficiency:
Excellent verbal communication skills in Malayalam are mandatory.
Working knowledge of English is an advantage.
Kerala PSC Knowledge:
Must have foundational knowledge and understanding of the Kerala PSC exams
, including their structure, syllabus, and the types of job roles they lead to.
Experience:
Prior experience in Telecalling, Telesales, or Customer Service is preferred. Experience in the Education Industry is a strong asset.
Computer Skills:
Basic proficiency in using computers, data entry skills, and the ability to operate CRM tools.
