Job Description

A telecaller for a tour operator company will call prospective and existing clients to promote holiday packages and services, generate leads, and convert bookings. Key responsibilities include making outbound calls, explaining tour details, addressing inquiries, processing orders, managing call logs, achieving sales targets, and maintaining positive customer relationships. Essential skills are strong verbal and interpersonal communication, persuasive speaking, product knowledge, and adherence to company policies and targets.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation: Make outbound calls to potential customers and existing clients to identify needs and promote tour packages and services.

Sales & Conversion: Explain details of travel products, address questions, overcome objections, and convert promising prospects into confirmed bookings.

Customer Service: Handle inbound calls, resolve customer queries, and provide solutions to issues related to travel plans.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate call logs, update customer records in a database, and manage campaign tracking.

Sales Target Achievement: Work to meet daily, weekly, or monthly sales and revenue targets set by the company.

Feedback & Coordination: Collect customer data for feedback, suggest improvements to offerings, and coordinate with the sales team for lead conversion.

Product Knowledge: Stay updated on tour packages, destinations, flights, hotels, and other travel offerings.

Skills & Qualifications

Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with persuasive speaking abilities.

Customer Focus: Excellent phone etiquette, strong listening and questioning abilities, and a customer-service-oriented attitude.

Persuasion: Ability to convince prospects and negotiate effectively to close sales.

Adaptability: Capacity to adjust communication style based on social cues and handle challenging situations.

Sales Acumen: Target-driven with a positive and resilient attitude, and a proven ability to achieve sales goals.

Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry for maintaining customer records.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
