Business Development Executive (BDE)

The Telecaller cum BDE is responsible for generating leads, reaching out to potential customers through calls, explaining products/services, and converting prospects into clients. The role also involves supporting field sales, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products/services. Handle inbound inquiries, explain offerings, and resolve customer queries. Generate leads, schedule appointments, and pass qualified prospects to the sales team. Maintain and update customer database (CRM/Excel). Follow up with potential clients to nurture relationships and close deals. Coordinate with the sales/marketing team for business development activities. Achieve daily/weekly/monthly call and sales targets. Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients. Maintain good relationships with existing clients for repeat business and referrals.

Required Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication and persuasive skills (English & Malayalam). Good telephone etiquette and active listening ability. Basic knowledge of sales and customer handling. Confidence in handling objections and negotiation. Proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools. Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and team player.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

Minimum 12th pass / Graduate in any discipline. 0-3 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, or business development (freshers with good communication skills may apply). Experience in industry, e.g., solar, IT, Healthcare etc will be an added advantage.
