The Telecaller will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, providing information to patients, assisting with appointments, following up on patient enquiries, and supporting hospital communication activities.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Patient Communication
Handle all incoming calls professionally and provide accurate information.
Assist patients in booking appointments, doctor consultation slots, and service enquiries.
Provide details about hospital services, departments, and timings.
B. Follow-Ups & Reminders
Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-up calls.
Update patients regarding reports, schedules, or rescheduling.
Call patients for feedback after consultations/admissions (if required).
C. Lead & Enquiry Management
Maintain call logs and enquiry details in the system.
Follow up with leads generated through campaigns or referrals.
Coordinate with marketing or front office teams for enquiry closures.
D. Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with doctors, reception, and nursing teams for patient information.
Provide real-time updates to the management when needed.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
3. Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, and local language preferred).
Good telephone etiquette and patience while speaking to patients.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, hospital software/ECW preferred).
Ability to handle stressful or emotional patient situations politely.
4. Qualifications
PUC / Any Graduate
0-2 years of experience in hospital telecalling or customer service
Freshers with good communication can also apply
