is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive to manage the selection, documentation, and deployment of seafarers in the ratings category. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in crew coordination, seafarer database management, and compliance handling for international vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle
recruitment and placement of Ratings
(AB, OS, Cook, Oiler, Wiper, etc.) for various types of vessels.
Screen, verify, and maintain up-to-date crew documentation including CDC, COC, STCW, Passport, and Medicals.
Coordinate with
Crew Managers, Masters, and Manning Agents
for crew joining and sign-off schedules.
Ensure all joining crew meet
flag state, owner, and MLC 2006
requirements.
Maintain crew database and update certifications and validity records.
Assist in crew appraisals, evaluations, and performance tracking.
Prepare and maintain joining instructions, travel arrangements, and visa coordination.
Provide welfare assistance and resolve any crew-related concerns promptly.
Liaise with shipping agencies and travel partners for smooth logistics.
