SR Group of Institutions is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and dynamic individual to join our admissions team as a
Tele-Caller cum Academic Counselor
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both inbound and outbound calling campaigns to prospective students and their parents, providing comprehensive counseling on our various
Engineering and Management programs
, and guiding them through the entire admission process. This role is crucial in achieving enrollment targets and maintaining strong communication with applicants.
Key Responsibilities1. Tele-Calling & Communication
Conduct a high volume of
outbound calls
to leads generated through various marketing channels (online inquiries, events, etc.).
Handle
inbound calls
and address inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about courses, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and the college's unique value proposition.
Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students and their parents via phone calls, WhatsApp, and email to nurture leads and ensure conversion.
Clearly communicate the USPs of SR Group of Institutions'
Engineering, Management, and other programs
(e.g., placements, faculty, infrastructure).
2. Academic Counseling & Admissions
Act as the primary point of contact for all admission-related queries, offering
expert guidance
on program selection based on the student's profile, interests, and career goals.
Explain the admission procedures, document requirements, and important deadlines for various programs (e.g., B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, Polytechnic).
Schedule and coordinate counseling sessions, campus visits, and meetings with faculty or senior management for interested candidates.
Assist applicants in completing the
application form
and ensure all required documentation is submitted accurately and on time.
3. Data Management & Reporting
Maintain and update detailed records of all interactions, leads, and enrollment statuses in the institution's
CRM/MIS system
daily.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on calling activities, lead status, conversion rates, and achievements for management review.
Identify trends in student inquiries and provide feedback to the marketing team to optimize lead generation strategies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A degree in Management, Communication, or Marketing is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of
2-3 years of proven experience
in tele-calling, inside sales, or academic counseling, preferably within the
Education/Higher Education
sector.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional verbal communication skills
in Hindi and English with a clear and persuasive phone presence.
Sales Acumen:
Proven ability to meet and exceed targets/KPIs related to lead conversion and enrollments.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong empathy, active listening, and counseling skills to build rapport with parents and students.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and experience using a Customer Relationship Management
(CRM)
system.
