Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Tekla Structures professional to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-fidelity 3D models and generating precise fabrication and erection drawings for complex steel structures, including

Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs)

,

Space Frame Structures

and

Roof Trusses

.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

3D Modeling:

Create accurate and detailed 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures based on architectural and structural design drawings.

Drawing Generation:

Produce comprehensive

Shop/Fabrication Drawings

,

General Arrangement (GA) drawings

, and

Erection Drawings

(including plans, elevations, and 3D views).

Detailing:

Perform intricate connection detailing (bolted and welded) in compliance with industry standards (e.g., AISC, IS Codes).

Reporting:

Generate accurate

Bills of Materials (BOM)

, Material Take-offs (MTO), Bolt Lists, and NC/DXF files for CNC production.

Clash Detection:

Identify and resolve potential clashes or design inconsistencies within the model before the fabrication stage.

Collaboration:

Coordinate with the design team and the fabrication plant to ensure that drawings are practical and optimized for manufacturing.

Quality Control:

Review and self-check drawings for accuracy, ensuring they align with project specifications and company standards.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Software Expertise:

Advanced proficiency in

Tekla Structures

and

AutoCAD

is mandatory.

Industry Knowledge:

Deep understanding of steel fabrication processes and erection sequences, particularly for

PEBs, Space Frames and other types of Steel Structures

.

Standard Compliance:

Solid knowledge of international and local building codes related to steel structures.

Problem Solving:

Ability to interpret complex architectural blueprints and structural design notes.

Education:

Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Structural Engineering or a related technical field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,500.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
