CTG is seeking a Tech/System Support Analyst provides advanced technical support, maintenance, and optimization for healthcare IT applications with a strong focus on third-party interface integrations. This role ensures seamless data exchange across clinical, financial, and operational systems, supporting interoperability standards and resolving interface-related issues to maintain high system reliability. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience troubleshooting HL7, FHIR, API, and other interface technologies and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Interface Support & Integration
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to third-party system interfaces (e.g., EHR, billing, lab, imaging, scheduling, patient engagement, and ancillary systems).
Work with HL7, FHIR, API, SFTP, flat-file, and other integration methods to ensure reliable data flow between systems.
Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and integration engine administrators (e.g., Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Mirth) to analyze defects and implement fixes.
Support interface testing, validation, upgrades, and new integration builds.
Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and problem resolution activities.
System Support & Maintenance
Provide day-to-day technical support for assigned healthcare applications and integrated systems.
Troubleshoot application configuration issues, workflow disruptions, and data discrepancies related to interface operations.
Assist with patching, upgrades, environment maintenance, and performance optimization.
Maintain documentation for interface specifications, workflows, system behaviors, and support processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with clinical, financial, operational, and IT teams to gather requirements and understand integration impacts.
Communicate issue status, timelines, and technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Collaborate with vendors and interface engine teams on design and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, system support, or application support.
Experience working with third-party interfaces in a healthcare setting (HL7, FHIR, APIs, or similar).
Solid understanding of healthcare data standards, interoperability workflows, and integration methodologies.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to manage complex data flow issues.
Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, etc.).
Preferred
Experience with interface engines (Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Mirth, Corepoint).
Knowledge of EHR systems (Cerner, Epic, Meditech, or similar).
Understanding of HIPAA, security protocols, and data privacy requirements.
Experience participating in integration projects, system upgrades, or new application implementations.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
