CTG is seeking a Tech/System Support Analyst - Domain Management to provide technical expertise in managing, supporting, and optimizing domain-related infrastructure within a healthcare IT environment. This role focuses on ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of Active Directory (AD), domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, and related authentication services. The ideal candidate combines domain management expertise with healthcare IT knowledge, supporting clinical, financial, and operational systems while maintaining compliance with security standards and healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Domain & Infrastructure Management
Administer and maintain Active Directory domains, including user accounts, groups, organizational units, and group policies.
Manage domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, and related services, ensuring high availability and performance.
Support single sign-on (SSO), authentication protocols (Kerberos, LDAP, SAML), and integration with third-party applications.
Assist with domain migrations, consolidations, and upgrades.
Monitor domain health, performance, and security, proactively addressing issues and implementing improvements.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide tier-2/3 support for authentication, access, and domain-related issues.
Troubleshoot login failures, replication issues, access denials, and related network authentication problems.
Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to resolve complex technical incidents.
Maintain documentation of domain configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting workflows.
Compliance & Security
Ensure domain management practices align with HIPAA, internal security policies, and regulatory standards.
Implement and monitor security policies, patches, and updates for domain controllers and related services.
Assist with audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities related to domain infrastructure.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to provision access and resolve system connectivity issues.
Partner with vendors and third-party application teams for integration, SSO, and authentication support.
Communicate technical concepts and resolution plans clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience managing Active Directory domains and related infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, LDAP, group policies, and SSO integrations.
Solid understanding of authentication protocols and identity management in enterprise environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting IT systems in a healthcare environment.
Preferred
Experience with cloud identity platforms (Azure AD, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta).
Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare IT regulatory requirements.
Experience with domain migrations, upgrades, or consolidation projects.
Knowledge of integration with EHR/EMR systems (Cerner, Epic, Meditech) or other healthcare applications.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
