Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary: Must have more than 6 years of hands-on experience in NetBackup and Veeam to take care of technical activities Should have strong knowledge with architecture of Veeam Backup. Should have hands-on experience in configuring File system, SAP, Exchange, NDMP, SQL and Oracle Database Backups for Windows and Unix servers Must Have Skills: Rubrik, Veritas NetBackup, BackupExec, Veeam, Avamar and Data Domain Good To Have Skills: Commvault Key Responsibilities: o Backup Management (Backups/Recovery jobs) o Monitoring (Software and Hardware) o Performing Scheduled Backups and On-Demand Backup requests o Backup troubleshooting on failures and slowness issue o New Server, VM, SQL, Oracle, NDMP, Agent based backup configuration and removal as per request o Performing critical and normal restores as per requests o Participating in audits for successful backups and failure backups o Backup software upgradation to latest SP or new version o Performing DR test activity to the secondary site. Technical Experience: o Should have experience on adding/updating storage and schedule policies, troubleshooting on backup failures, managing licensing and capacity usages. o Should have experience on multiple agents which includes Filesystem, VSA, SQL, Oracle, Exchange, SAP, Active Directory and NDMP backups. o Should have hands-on experience in Rubrik, Veritas NetBackup, BackupExec, Veeam, Avamar and DataDomain Administration including o Installation, Configuration and troubleshooting issues on Unix / Windows Platform Lead Veeam Upgrades, patching and compliance requirements. o Good understanding of Deduplication in Rubrik, Veritas NetBackup, BackupExec, Veeam, Avamar and DataDomain and its implentation. o Should have experience knowledge on Bare Metal restore o Should have hands-on experience on Network, Database and OS teams for fixing various backup issues. o Should have experience on raising vendor support cases and working with support Engineers. o Should have knowledge in performing disaster recovery backups. Managing High availability in Rubrik, Veritas NetBackup, BackupExec, Veeam, Avamar and DataDomain. o Should have hands-on experience on media management and handling staging jobs o Should have hands-on experience in performing restoration of filesystem data o Should have experience in recovery of SQL, Oracle, Exchange, AS400 and DB2 o Understanding of NDMP, VTL, SAN Media servers, Vault and Duplication options. o Monitor daily activity and availability of the Backup environment by analyzing reports and reviewing activity logs o Run and monitor backups, duplications and restores o Maintain all equipment for backup environment to include servers, disk, and tape library and storage devices. o Manage and maintain disk storage devices o Verify tape drive operation and maintain media rotation and availability o Should have experience in Installing /Removing Updates o Should have experience Analyze and handle complex incidents and major incidents and promptly provide solutions o Handle complex changes across the product o Work with teams internal/external teams, vendors, and all relevant stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery o Maintain the platform to the highest standard and ensure 24x7 support o Excellent Communication Skills, ITIL Process, Ticketing Management, Customer handling Professional Attributes: o Should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting backup failures. o Should have hands on experience on de-duplication, replication of backups o Good skills in managing backup team o Should be aware of ITIL processes and should be open to work on multiple backup technologies. o Should have strong communication skills. o Ability to work shift patterns and provide out of hour's on-call support o Flexible to work in 24/7 shifts (Rotational Shifts) Educational Qualification: o 15 years of mandatory education as per Accenture Standards.
