Summary We are seeking an experienced Network & Unified Communications Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-scale network and collaboration platforms. The role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and decision-making to ensure performance, scalability, and security across a global IT environment. The ideal candidate will not only manage infrastructure but also mentor team members and influence technology roadmaps. Roles & Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (controllers, routers, switches, wireless access points, circuits). Lead large-scale deployments (1,200+ routers, 1,400+ switches, 4,500+ access points) with high availability and reliability. Implement and manage Zero Trust Network Access (ZPA/ZTNA) solutions. Oversee operations of Juniper, Cisco, VMware NSX, and multi-vendor network environments. Administer and secure DNS/DHCP/IPAM (InfoBlox) and integration with Cloudflare. Drive strategy, deployment, and optimization of Unified Communications platforms: Cisco UCC, Avaya, UCCaaS, Webex Contact Center. Use monitoring platforms (OpsRamp) to ensure proactive incident management. Collaborate with stakeholders to define network/UC strategies aligned with business goals. Lead, mentor, and guide junior engineers to build technical and operational excellence. Participate in architectural decision-making and vendor evaluations. Ensure compliance with security, risk, and governance standards. Promote automation, documentation, and continuous improvement of IT operations. Professional and Technical Skills 5-7 years of experience in enterprise networking and unified communications. Strong technical expertise in IP routing, switching, wireless networks, and circuits. Advanced knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, and other leading vendors. Proficiency in Zero Trust architectures (Zscaler ZPA/ZTNA). Hands-on with InfoBlox, Cloudflare, OpsRamp, VMware NSX. Strong background in Unified Communications platforms (Cisco UCC, Avaya, UCCaaS, Webex Contact Center). Solid understanding of network security, redundancy, and DR/BCP. Proven leadership skills with experience in team management, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong decision-making abilities, with a focus on balancing technical feasibility, cost efficiency, and business impact. Preferred Certifications: CCNP/CCIE (Cisco) JNCIP/JNCIE (Juniper) VCP-NV (VMware NSX) Zscaler Certified Engineer
