Summary: We are seeking a skilled Wireless Network Engineer with expertise in Juniper Mist solutions to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise wireless networks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wireless LAN architecture, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and cloud-managed network systems. This role involves ensuring optimal wireless performance, security, and user experience across multiple sites. Roles & Responsibilities: o Design, implement, and manage enterprise wireless networks using Juniper Mist solutions. o Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize wireless performance and coverage. o Configure and maintain wireless controllers, access points, and network management platforms. o Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless network integration and scalability. o Conduct site surveys, RF analysis, and capacity planning for wireless deployments. o Implement security policies, authentication mechanisms, and guest access solutions. o Maintain documentation for network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. o Provide technical support for complex wireless issues and escalate to vendors when required. o Stay updated with emerging wireless technologies, standards, and best practices. Professional and Technical Skills: o Strong knowledge of Juniper Mist cloud-managed wireless solutions. o Expertise in Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF fundamentals, and wireless troubleshooting tools. o Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, SNMP, etc.). o Hands-on experience with wireless site surveys, spectrum analysis, and RF planning. o Familiarity with network security, including WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, and NAC solutions. o Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and topology maps. o Knowledge of integration with wired networks, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and cloud platforms. o Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. o Configure and manage Mist Access Points (APs), Mist Edge, and Cloud-based controllers via Mist Cloud. o Conduct RF site surveys, capacity planning, and Wi-Fi coverage design using tools such as Ekahau or AirMagnet. o Develop and apply SSID, VLAN, and authentication configurations, including 802.1X, RADIUS, PSK, and guest access. o Integrate Mist AI and Marvis Virtual Network Assistant for network automation, anomaly detection, and user-experience optimization. o Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless wired and wireless integration using Juniper EX/QFX switches. o Provide Level 2/3 support for Juniper Mist wireless environments Preferred Certifications: o Juniper Mist Certified Specialist - Enterprise Wireless (JNCIS-WLAN or equivalent) o Certified Wireless Network Expert (CWNE) / CWNP certifications o Cisco CCNA/CCNP Wireless (optional, beneficial) o Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) for cloud-managed network integrations
