Summary: We are looking for a technically strong and strategically minded AWS Administrator - Associate Manager to lead and manage the administration of our AWS infrastructure. This role combines hands-on cloud administration expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring operational excellence, platform scalability, and team performance in a fast-paced environment. As the Associate Manager, you will oversee a team of cloud engineers and administrators, manage AWS resource governance, and ensure secure, optimized, and reliable operations across our cloud environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Team & Project Leadership: o Lead and manage a team of AWS administrators and cloud engineers. o Oversee day-to-day AWS operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs, uptime, and performance standards. o Coordinate project deliverables, prioritize tasks, and manage capacity planning. o Serve as the technical escalation point for AWS-related issues. AWS Infrastructure Oversight: o Administer AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudTrail, and others. o Guide the adoption and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. o Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of cloud environments using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, etc. o Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations across AWS workloads. Governance & Optimization: o Implement and enforce AWS governance policies including tagging, billing accountability, identity access controls, and resource provisioning. o Monitor cloud usage and optimize costs using tools such as AWS Budgets, Cost Explorer, and Trusted Advisor. o Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC, HIPAA, PCI). Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: o Work closely with DevOps, Security, Architecture, and Application teams to support deployments and environment management. o Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure integration with automation and version control tools. o Communicate platform status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and senior management. Professional and Technical Skills: o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. o 9+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure and services. o Deep understanding of core AWS services and best practices. o Proficiency with CLI tools, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell), and version control (e.g., Git). o Strong experience with IaC and automation frameworks. o Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, Route Tables, NAT, VPNs, Direct Connect). Additional Information: o 15 years of mandatory education as per Accenture Standards. o AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate or Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional. o Experience with containerized environments (e.g., ECS, EKS, Docker). o Exposure to hybrid cloud environments or on-prem integrations. o Familiarity with Agile project delivery and DevOps practices.
