Summary: Application Delivery Engineer - Citrix & Akamai Load Balancer (GTM/LTM) Specialist. We are seeking an experienced Application Delivery Engineer with strong expertise in Citrix technologies and Akamai Load Balancing solutions, including Global Traffic Manager (GTM) and Local Traffic Manager (LTM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of enterprise applications through efficient delivery and traffic management strategies. Roles and responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments. - Manage NetScaler ADC (Citrix Gateway) for secure remote access, load balancing, and traffic optimization. - Design and implement load balancing strategies using Akamai GTM and LTM. - Configure Akamai for global traffic distribution, DNS failover, and application availability. - Monitor application delivery performance and troubleshoot latency, routing, or access issues. - Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to support secure and scalable application delivery. - Implement security policies and ensure compliance across Citrix and Akamai platforms. - Provide technical support, documentation, and knowledge sharing for Citrix and Akamai systems. Professional and Technical skills: - 5+ years of hands-on experience with Citrix technologies (Citrix Virtual Apps, Desktops, NetScaler ADC). - Strong knowledge of Akamai GTM (Global Traffic Manager) and LTM (Local Traffic Manager) configuration and management. - Experience with DNS routing, health checks, failover policies, and traffic optimization. - Proficient in troubleshooting application performance and access issues in a distributed environment. - Solid understanding of network protocols, SSL/TLS, and web application security. - Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Akamai APIs) is a plus. - Certifications such as CCA-V, CCA-AppDS, or Akamai certifications are advantageous. - Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills. Additional information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience. - The position is at our Gurugram office. - A 15 year full time education is required.
