Design and manage
MPLS Layer 2/3 VPNs
, traffic segmentation, and QoS enforcement across the backbone.
Maintain robust route-reflector topologies and redundancy plans in accordance with industry best practices.
Oversee network convergence, route dampening, flap detection, and prefix filtering.
4. Subscriber Management (BNG)
Oversee and optimize
BNG systems
(Broadband Network Gateways) for PPPoE, DHCP, NAT, dynamic IP assignment, and AAA (RADIUS/TACACS) integration.
Implement traffic shaping, policy-based routing, and per-user QoS profiles.
Ensure seamless integration with OSS/BSS platforms and subscriber provisioning systems.
Configure and manage
BNG systems
for IP address management, session control, authentication (RADIUS/AAA), QoS, and traffic shaping.
Oversee dynamic IP assignment, PPPoE, DHCP, and NAT configurations on BNG routers.
5. Access Network Management (GPON, ONT, OLT)

GPON network deployments and access networks
, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of
OLT/ONT systems
from vendors.
Manage integration with BNG and aggregation layers to ensure efficient service delivery to subscribers.
Define service profiles, VLAN tagging (TR-069, TR-101), and optical parameters (TX/RX, LOS, etc.) monitoring.
Monitor performance and reliability of customer access networks and troubleshoot GPON-related issues.
Ensure interoperability between GPON systems and BNG (Broadband Network Gateway) platforms for subscriber management.
6. SD-WAN & Edge Connectivity
Lead design and deployment of
SD-WAN
technologies for enterprise customer connectivity and service delivery.
Integrate SD-WAN with MPLS/IPSec backbones, including high availability, path selection, and real-time failover strategies.
