We are looking for a detail-oriented Application Monitoring & Escalation Executive to proactively monitor business-critical applications, identify issues in real time, and ensure timely escalation to relevant teams. The role is key to maintaining application availability, performance, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor applications and system dashboards to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
Identify, log, and track application incidents, alerts, and anomalies.
Perform initial triage and analysis to determine severity and impact.
Escalate incidents to internal teams or external vendors as per defined escalation matrix.
Follow up on escalated issues to ensure timely resolution and closure.
Communicate incident status and updates to stakeholders clearly and promptly.
Maintain incident reports, escalation logs, and monitoring documentation.
Support post-incident reviews and assist in identifying root causes.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
Work in shifts, including weekends or holidays, if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in application monitoring, IT operations, or support roles.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., application dashboards, log monitoring, alerting systems).
Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and system workflows.
Strong incident management and escalation handling skills.
