Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) provides Technology infrastructure, Shared Services, Platforms and capability across the entire bank. Within GTI , the Application Infrastructure group is responsible for delivering several strategic, mission critical platforms and products that support our bank-wide application ecosystem incorporating our Database, PaaS, Messaging, Web Hosting, SAP infra, Grid computing and Analytics platform capabilities.
App Infra is responsible for the Product Management of these platforms including Engineering, Operating and Architecting the roadmaps of the underlying platforms and products ensuring stable, resilient and performant platforms that align with the bank's overall IT strategy and vision.
We are looking for a highly experienced, visionary individual to be the Technology Management Lead who will take substantial accountability for the Messaging platforms that encompasses people, processes and products.

Key responsibilities
As a leader, and senior representative in India, you will be partnering different groups within the organisation to drive product strategy & rationalisation, operational efficiency and robust people processes to deliver best in class client engagement and experience.
Engineering Capability:
Strong understanding of a selection of enterprise application platforms
+ Multi-tenant containerized solutions (Red hat OpenShift or similar);
+ Messaging solutions (MQ / Solace / Informatica / Kafka,);
+ Monitoring solutions (Geneos / Splunk or similar);
+ Strong experience in Cloud eco system particularly GCP Demonstrable experience implementing service-oriented architecture - preferably for (integrating) above mentioned products
Demonstrable interest in, and focus upon, technology, trends and emerging themes - focusing on cloud native alternative (preferably GCP)
Responsible for designing and delivering significant components of engineering solutions to accomplish business goals, including active participation in their design, investigating re-use and ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose, maintainable and can be integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment with clear, robust and well tested deployments.
A track record of proven evaluation of the suitability of designs and solutions (encompassing: functional, non-functional, resilience and self-healing requirements)
Desire to build, evolve and support an in-house development capability, instilling the need for agility.
Team Management

Operational Accountability
Ensuring platforms remain resilient and performant in line with agreed SLAs and OLAs
Support operational teams and act as a point of escalation for Incident, Problem and Change Management activities
Ensuring all platforms remain compliant with standards and policies
Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements via automation and repeatable patterns
Instill a SRE culture and mindset
Risk Management
Own the Risk posture of the group including owning and remediating all Audit Findings and Action Plans assigned to underlying platforms
Interlock with relevant Risk forums groups to ensure that the Risk posture aligns with the bank's Risk Appetite
Pro-actively seek out opportunities to mitigate Risk as part of Product evolution and lifecycle
Financial Management
Accountable for the financials of the group incorporating CTB and RTB
Accountable for ensuring the Group complies with Headcount targets, location strategy and D&I targets
Work with the relevant COOs to review run rate and cost forecasts
Product Management
Ensure that all Product Management complies and aligns to the banks' Product Management framework
Instill a client-centric culture that puts the client / consumer at the heart of the Product Lifecycle
Support Product Owners to develop robust Product Roadmaps that align with customer needs and the bank's strategy
Focus on the full Product Lifecycle including structured deprecation of legacy products and building robust business cases for new product options
Your skills and experience
Experienced practitioner with experience or interest in delivering enterprise grade application platforms and technologies as listed,
Experience with SOA design and implementation to deliver products that are consumed as platforms.
Engineering capability with an interest in active participation, team development, coaching, mentoring and project delivery.
Engineering transformation encompassing location transition; knowledge transfer; agile working practices
Sound understanding of development and operation collaboration in agile engineering paradigm
An attention to detail, combined with a focus on a strategic picture and inter team co-operation to ensure successful execution
Experience of working in a highly regulated industry with evidence of managing audit / regulatory issues
End to end platform ownership experience (build to operate) including evidence of building out product roadmaps, managing high performing teams and delivering measurable value
