The Position
Position Title: Technology Lead (Tech Lead)
Location: Hyderabad or Chennai
Roche has established the Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) in India to drive analytics & technology-driven solutions by partnering with Roche affiliates across the globe.
The Technology Lead will be responsible for ensuring top-quality data required to perform commercial operations in multiple systems and applications. Primary activities might be focused on the ongoing processing of data change requests, onboarding and enrichment of new data sets as well as identification, definition, and delivery of the data quality initiatives. All Roche employees are expected to effectively contribute to cross-functional collaboration and coordination and comply with all laws, regulations, policies & procedures that govern our business.
As a Technology Lead, you will:
Utilize in-depth knowledge of data modeling, analysis, and data management techniques to support and enhance data-related processes
Ensure Adherence to the best practices in data management, governance, and analytics throughout the organization
Identify, Plan, and implement data quality initiatives
Process the Data Change Requests related to Health Care Master Data
Conduct matching and merging of the Master records
Ensure the newly on-boarded data sets are accurate, complete, and adhere to currently defined data standards
Perform analysis and required maintenance of the Master Data including HCPs, HCOs, and Affiliations
Conduct investigations and data matching coming from various source systems
Proactively monitor and manage the data change requests
Perform data search and investigation activities in internal and external data sources
Develop process improvements for data management and data quality activities
Documenting processes and maintaining data records
Help devise an adaptable governance methodology to enable efficiency and effectiveness in data operations, as it relates to MDM, data integration, taxonomy, and reporting & analytics
Provide vendor relationship management and support, as needed
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and be sought after for collaboration in areas of expertise
Provide leadership and expertise to drive the large-scale data/technical solutions
Participate in various data or systems projects to drive design, establish best practices
Training and mentoring other team members, business partners, and stakeholders on related domain expertise
Required Experience, Skills, Qualification
6-8 years of previous experience working with key pharmaceutical/biotechnology data assets like Customer, Sales, Claims, and other secondary data
Strong experience in Master Data Management and data stewardship/governance processes Experience in managing data projects and data vendors in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry
Knowledge of MDM solutions like Reltio, and Informatica MDM; pharma CRM solutions like Salesforce, OCE, and Veeva CRM; cloud platforms like AWS, and Hadoop is a strong plus
Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations
Excellent problem-solving skills, details-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in interacting with Senior Leadership
Must demonstrate knowledge of, or aptitude to learn, business information systems, databases, and business analytics relevant to the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries
Previous experience in other functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industry is strongly preferred, e.g., commercial operations, field sales or sales management, field sales operations, field account management, product marketing, market planning, strategic planning, etc.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals
Business travel, by air or car, is required for regular internal and external business meetings
Education:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (computer science, engineering, or other technical disciplines)
