For our Offshore Service Engineering team, we are looking for a new colleague to work with us as a Technology Improvement Expert. Key areas of focus for the role is to participate in the technical support processes in the engineering performance team with a continuous improvement mindset. The role requires the ability to support in improvement performance of the EN function, analysis and suggesting improvements of AEP gains, work closely on bottom line supporting projects along with Aftersales, TE and PRM departments, productivity improvements and to work closely with other departments to improve all aspects of the business with close attention to value adding projects. The role covers different kind of improvements, mainly (but not exclusively) focused on EN. Other activities such as analyse cases of energy production underperformance and support wider team on root cause analysis will also be occasionally required. Value Stream mapping, 8D, Lean initiatives and improvements and usage of Six Sigma tools and techniques will also be required.

How You'll Make an Impact



Understanding and supporting Engineering Performance function and wider Engineering team in driving bottom line growth through analytics and targeted improvement ideation. Driving productivity ideas to conclusions. Leading, driving and owning improvement projects within the EP function Defining potential for technical aftermarket products, review technical requests from customers and propose solutions alongside wider EN team. Perform root cause analysis of performance cases and contribute with case understanding and description through operational data analysis. Deliver technical support in this area to other teams and departments. Build automation tools to conduct data analysis processes when required. Implement forecasting models for the potential value of new aftermarket solutions based on sites specific operational data. Bring learnings to the organization from engineering analysis of the fleet performance whilst working alongside other Engineering Performance team, the wider Engineering team and operations, supply chain, TE, PRM, warranty, logistics and procurement. Cooperate with the team leader in the specification and development of new technical procedures/methodologies or tools needed to improve team performance and knowledge

What You Bring



To have a solid background in process improvement techniques such as Lean and / or Six Sigma accreditation. To have relevant technical experience (around 3-5 years) preferably in wind industry and solid knowledge in data analysis applied to measure and improve performance. To have professional experience in data analysis with Matlab, Python or Minitab. Design of analysis models, automation of processes, design of visualizations and KPIs to understand large data sets. To have professional experience in technical support functions in wind industry or other similar industries. To have knowledge and professional/educational experience with the use of databases. A Continuous Improvement qualification. preferable qualified in a Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA or RCA discipline (preferable) Power BI data modelling and dashboards design. To be proactive, a good team player, persistent and self-driven, with good communication skills and multicultural sensitivity and ability to work in a cross-department matrix environment. To have initiative, analysis skills, self-motivated, self-improvement, willing to learn, emotional intelligence and ability to team-work.
