We are looking to add an Early Careers Specialist to our Talent Partnering team in our Technology-hub in Bengaluru!
Reporting into our Product & Technology People Business Partner, the Early Careers Specialist for Technology is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing programs that attract, develop, and retain early career talent in technology-focused roles. This position focuses on creating structured frameworks for graduate schemes, internships, and entry-level technology roles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
The role requires a deep understanding of the technology landscape, including emerging trends, technical skill development, and the unique needs of early career professionals in the tech industry. The Early Careers Specialist acts as a key partner to HR teams, the technology team and external stakeholders to ensure the success of technology-focused early career initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Program Design and Development:
Develop and implement early career programs tailored to technology roles, including software development, data analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence.
Design structured learning and development plans focused on technical skill-building, innovation, and leadership development.
Collaborate with technology leaders to identify talent needs and align programs with organizational objectives.
Ensure programs are inclusive, diverse, and accessible to candidates from various backgrounds.
Champion the programme and represent it across the business.
2. Talent Acquisition:
Partner with recruitment teams to attract high-potential early career talent through targeted campaigns, university partnerships, hackathons, and technology events.
Develop innovative strategies to enhance employer branding and position the organization as a top choice for early career technology professionals.
Oversee the selection process, including technical assessments, coding challenges, and interviews, ensuring a fair and transparent approach.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration:
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including technology teams, HR teams, and senior leaders, to ensure program success.
Partner with external organizations, universities, coding bootcamps, and training providers to create pipelines for early career technology talent.
Act as a mentor and point of contact for early career participants, providing guidance and support throughout their journey.
4. Program Management and Delivery:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of technology-focused early career programs, ensuring they run smoothly and meet organizational goals.
Monitor program performance, track participant progress, and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies related to early career programs.
5. Learning and Development:
In collaboration with the Learning & Organizational Development team, design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and development activities focused on technical skills, innovation, and problem-solving.
Work with the colleagues, leaders, and L&OD to support the creation of development plans to help participants build expertise in areas such as programming, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
Foster a culture of continuous learning by encouraging participants to engage with internal learning opportunities, pursue certifications, attend workshops, and self-study.
6. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
Champion DEI initiatives within technology-focused early career programs, ensuring diverse representation and equal opportunities.
Develop strategies to attract underrepresented groups in technology and create an inclusive environment for all participants.
7. Reporting and Analytics:
Track program metrics, including participant retention, performance, and satisfaction, to measure success.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting program outcomes and recommendations.
Use data-driven insights to refine and improve technology-focused early career initiatives.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Qualifications
Demonstratable understanding of the technology landscape and technology platforms.
Proven experience in managing early career programs, graduate schemes, or internships, specifically in technology roles.
A background in talent acquisition, learning and development, or HR program management within the tech industry.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including universities, coding bootcamps, and technology leaders.

The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our Bengaluru office to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office location to collaborate as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in-person time.
