Position Summary:

The Technology Business Partner is a pivotal role responsible for driving the successful adoption and integration of strategic technology initiatives across the organization. This position serves as the key liaison between business unit leaders and technology teams, with an initial priority on championing and managing the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. Reporting to the VP of Technology, this role requires strong execution skills, change leadership, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable technology plans.

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategy Translation & Adoption:

Collaborate with the technology teams and business partners to define and drive the implementation of the strategic technology roadmap, ensuring initiatives align with and deliver measurable business value.

AI Initiative Execution:

Lead the oversight and tracking of key AI projects, ensuring clear communication, resource alignment, and successful deployment within the operational environment.

Business Partnership:

Serve as the technology champion and point of contact for business unit leaders, simplifying complex technology concepts and advocating for the required organizational change.

Change Management & Process Integration:

Utilize operational expertise to manage the organizational change required by new technology, ensuring smooth process integration, high user acceptance, and maximum efficiency gains.

Program Monitoring:

Track and report on initiative progress, budget adherence, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to the VP of Technology and other stakeholders.

Key Skills & Competencies

Operational Leadership:

Proven experience in a management or leadership role (e.g., Operations Manager), demonstrating successful ownership of outcomes, process optimization, and team mobilization.

Execution & Project Management:

Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex initiatives or projects from start to finish, requiring coordination across multiple teams or departments.

Business Acumen & Value Focus:

Strong ability to understand business needs and focus on initiatives that deliver clear, measurable operational or financial value.

Communication & Influence:

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among diverse operational and business stakeholders.

Aptitude for Technology:

A strong curiosity and willingness to learn about emerging technologies, particularly AI/ML concepts, and their practical application to business challenges. Prior deep technical expertise is not required, but an understanding of technology's role in process improvement is essential.
