The Seafood Technologist will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety of seafood products. This role combines expertise in food science, marine biology, and processing technology to develop sustainable, high-quality seafood offerings that meet regulatory standards and consumer expectations.
Monitor seafood processing operations for HACCP, ISO, FSSAI, FDA, EU compliance.
Conduct microbiological, chemical, and sensory testing of seafood products.
Implement traceability systems for raw materials and finished goods.
Enhance shelf life, flavor, and texture using modern preservation techniques.
Optimize processing methods (filleting, freezing, smoking, canning).
Prepare documentation for audits, certifications, and export requirements.
Liaise with government agencies and certification bodies.
Promote sustainability initiatives and train teams on best practices.
