Job Description

:
Patient Care:
Prepare and position patients for radiation treatment with accuracy.
Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance throughout treatment.
Monitor patient responses and report any side effects or issues to the medical team.
Technical Duties:
Operate linear accelerators and other radiation delivery equipment.
Perform quality assurance checks on machines to ensure they function correctly.
Implement radiation treatment plans created by radiation oncologists and medical physicists.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to strict safety protocols to protect patients, themselves, and others from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Follow all regulatory and hospital guidelines related to radiation therapy.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate treatment records for each patient.
Update treatment data in electronic medical systems as required.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals.
