Job Title: Techno-Commercial Manager (Solar Rooftop Division)



Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Techno-Commercial Manager to lead the end-to-end technical and commercial aspects of rooftop solar projects. This role bridges engineering expertise with business acumen, ensuring seamless execution from client acquisition to project commissioning.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Client Engagement

Identify and pursue new rooftop solar opportunities across industrial segments with capacities exceeding 50?kW DC. Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to assess solar potential and project viability Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to clients Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers and vendors
Technical Oversight

Design optimal rooftop solar PV systems using simulation tools Coordinate with engineering and installation teams to ensure timely project execution Review and evaluate technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and system layouts Ensure compliance with local DISCOM regulations and Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) guidelines
Commercial Management

Prepare detailed techno-commercial offers including ROI analysis, payback period calculations, and financial modelling Track project costs, margins, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle Liaise with vendors and suppliers for procurement optimization and competitive pricing Support subsidy documentation and net metering approval processes
Reporting & Strategy

Maintain CRM systems and project tracking dashboards for performance monitoring Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to support business decisions Support strategic planning and market expansion initiatives
Qualifications & Skills

Any graduate with techno-commercial experience; candidates with a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering are preferred 4-5 years of experience in solar rooftop or renewable energy sector Proven track record in techno-commercial roles
Technical Skills & Soft Skills

Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and balance of system components Proficiency in solar design software Advanced skills in MS Excel for financial modelling and data analysis Excellent negotiation and communication skills Strong project management and coordination abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Customer-focused approach with strong presentation skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
